VENUE TAKEOVER

WHAT IS CHOP SUEY CHOW CLUB
CSCC is not just food, it’s a feeling. A bold, limited-time dining experience that brings new-school flair to old-school Chinese.
Housed inside The Living Room for 1 month only this kitchen takeover pays tribute to the energy of Chinatown’s past with a menu shaped by memory, family and flavour.
Led by Chef Will Lew and Chef Sharon (of MAMAintheKitchen), the project draws from their childhoods, their heritage, and the dishes they grew up loving, with a few unexpected twists along the way. Think modern takes on nostalgic classics, vibrant cocktails, and a room that feels like you’ve stepped into a neon-soaked dream from another era.
This is the kind of experience people talk about after it's gone. And it’s not here for long.
Serving up nostalgic Chinese eats + super cheap cocktails and drinks

THE CHEFS

Chef Will Lew
Will’s roots run deep in Chinatown. His grandfather helmed the kitchen at Vancouver’s legendary Ho Ho & Ho Ho Inn, a local spot that helped shape the city’s Chinese-Canadian dining scene in the '60s. Chop Suey Chow Club is a tribute to that legacy.

Chef Sharon of MAMAintheKitchen
Raised in a family that operated one of the first Hong Kong-style café chains in Shanghai, Sharon grew up around hybrid comfort food that blended cultures and broke rules. That energy lives in every dish she touches.

The Drinks - Cocktails are sharp, fun, and packed with personality.
